Hello I am Peri. A licensed, professional, CPR/First Aid/ BBP certified, country, Geechie, Trinidadian girl from low country SC who loves to pierce. I've always been drawn to body modification & self expression. When I was a little girl, my Aunt had her ears pierced all the way up. I was in love with the look! I could hardly wait to adorn myself! I got my first professional piercing on my 18th birthday. I was so stoked to finally have my tongue pierced!! Many years later, I started my piercing “career. “ I have been piercing professionally in Fredericksburg VA since 2015. My piercing “career” began in 2011 at a shop in Columbia SC where I pierced for 3 years. During my apprenticeship, I became heavily interested in the medical/healing/acupuncture  influenced side of piercing.  It interested me so much how piercings are not only cool, but healing and transformative on so many levels. I came into the industry from a professional medical background. I always joke that I would have been a surgeon if I had the patience to stay in college longer. Lol. Leaving the corporate world behind me was one of the best life decisions I’ve ever made! However, my journey hasn't been all roses. There has definitely been some pain. The funny thing about pain is it's actually a perfectly portioned gift. In just the right dose, pain can be transformative. From pain we can make our lives pretty....or pretty awesome!  After all.... isn't that why you're here? WELCOME to Pretty Pain by Peri
